88L FORCEPS [X/88L]
My favourite upper molar forceps. These forceps are for the upper left quadrant. The serrated prongs completely engage the buccal furcation and palatal root to allow for maximum grip.
88R FORCEPS [X/88R]
My favourite upper molar forceps. These forceps are for the upper right quadrant. The serrated prongs completely engage the buccal furcation and palatal root to allow for maximum grip.
23 COWHORN FORCEPS [X/23]
The workhorse of mandibular molar extractions. Serrated, tapered beaks sink deep into the furcation - when paired with a pumping motion, lower molars don't stand a chance!
222 FORCEPS [X/222]
These forceps excel at removing lower posterior teeth like erupted third molars and second molars. The right-angled beaks afford access to this posterior region and they're a life-saver when people have limited ability to open!
210S FORCEPS [X/210S]
The low profile beaks and large offset in the shank provide amazing access to the upper third molar area. My favourite for erupted upper third molars.
76S FORCEPS [X/76S]
A renowned oral surgeon once told me that if he was stranded on an island and could only have one instrument, it would be the 76S. I was instantly sold! This is a super versatile instrument that can be used for upper premolars and anterior teeth. It's also good for removing root tips or sectioned roots in the maxillary molar region.
74 FORCEPS [X/74]
These forceps work exceptionally well for premolars. They also adapt to upper anteriors and lower molars after sectioning. Serrated beaks enhance grip and the English style hinge allows for greater leverage and force to be applied to the teeth.
74N FORCEPS [X/74N]
These forceps have extremely thin beaks which adapt to crowded lower anterior teeth or malpositioned premolars. They're a must-have for your armamentarium!
39R FORCEPS [X/39R]
These are custom-designed forceps that adapt amazingly well to primary maxillary molars! There is a hawk's beak on the buccal side and a paired concave beak to wrap the palatal root. The offset shank allows for easier access to the posterior. These are for the upper right quadrant.
39L FORCEPS [X/39L]
These are custom-designed forceps that adapt amazingly well to primary maxillary molars! There is a hawk's beak on the buccal side and a paired concave beak to wrap the palatal root. The offset shank allows for easier access to the posterior. These are for the upper left quadrant.
161 FORCEPS [X/161]
Possibly my favourite forceps! The 161 completely encircles lower primary molars and allows for maximum leverage. The miniature beaks fit perfectly into the smallest mouths.
ELEVATORS
63B SPADE [X/63B]
This offset, back-action spade is one of my favourite elevators. The sharp tip easily sinks into bone around badly decayed roots. The offset shank allows access to impacted third molars. Great for general use and when teeth inevitably break off as you're trying to remove them.
3mm OFFSET LUXATOR [X/L3O]
I always loved the 77R, but wished the tip could be thinner like the 3mm luxator! I finally stopped wishing and designed it for the set. All the versatility of a 3mm luxator paired with an offset angle to improve access to third molars and the posterior region.
3mm CURVED LUXATOR [X/L3C]
This 3mm luxator is my primary elevator and can be used on any tooth, in virtually any position! You can use it like a lever to elevate or use it like a wedge to luxate. If a tooth breaks... no problem, it can be used to retrieve roots. This is the most versatile instrument in the kit.
COGSWELL B [X-CB]
The sharpened tip and smooth round tapered point allows for superior engagement of purchase points without placing stress on the root structure like a crane pick would. Ideal for the removal of impacted third molars.
MINI-CRYER [X/MCL]
Not all cryers are created equal. The 6mm mini-cryers are ideal for getting into small spaces. They are super sharp which allows for easy engagement of the root surface and maximal traction when delivering a root.

WARWICK JAMES [X/WL]
The small curved end on the Warwick James is ideal for gaining access to the mesial purchase point of a maxillary impacted third molar. The curved tip allows you to control and direct the tooth toward the occlusal/buccal direction.

HEIDBRINK ROOT PICK [X/HL]
Another gem I picked up from shadowing oral surgeons. If you want to level up your root picks, the Heidbrink is the best way to do it! The thicker shank and stronger handle will improve your success with retrieving roots.

ACCESSORIES
LUCAS SERRATED CURETTE [X/LSC]
I used to find regular curettes frustrating and ineffective. The serrations make this curette 10x more useful for loosening granulation tissue and clearing out a socket.
MINNESOTA RETRACTOR [X/MR]
This is a custom-designed Minnesota retractor with a thumb loop for improved control and reduced fatigue while retracting. Ultra-rigid with a tapered tip to slip easily under your flaps.
LOCKLIN ANGLED SCISSORS [X-LAS]
Sharp and angled for better access to the posterior regions of the mouth. Awesome for snipping off your sutures.
BAUMGARTNER NEEDLE DRIVER [X/BND]
Narrow-shaped textured ends grip your needle firmly to allow you to control your sutures with greater precision. The extended length gives you easier access to the posterior of the mouth.
CRILE RANKIN HEMOSTAT [X/CRH]
This curved hemostat is great for gripping tissue tags, bone, and tooth fragments following an extraction. It also can be used to clamp tissue during a frenectomy procedure.
BLADE EJECT SCALPEL [X/BES]
The silver push button situated on the top of the round handle ejects the blade and protects you and your staff from injury. The round handle offers greater dexterity and control than a standard flat scalpel handle.
WOODSON/ALLEN PERIOSTEAL [X/WAP]
This periosteal is sharp to allow for easier reflection of tissue and contains perforations to allow for suturing or suctioning of the operative site.
FREIDMAN MICRO RONGEUR [X/FR]
Sometimes you hold an instrument in your hand and it just feels right! This rongeur has a curved handle and tiny beaks that allow you to get into tight spaces. Perfect for shaping bone and removing residual granulation tissue, follicles, tooth fragments, bone chips, and tissue tags.
SUTURE FORCEPS [X/SF]
This genius, gritty tip design allows for precise placement of the suture needle and stabilization of the tissue. The custom knurling pattern provides a non-slip grip.
SELF-ASPIRATING SYRINGE [X/S]
Complete with thumb ring and self-aspirating tip. This heavy-duty syringe will make your injections smoother and help you avoid intravascular injections.
